English National Opera       

H.M.S. Pinafore   29th October – 11th December
Directed by Cal McCrystal with Chris Hopkins as Musical Director.
With John Savournin as Captain Corcoran, Elgan Llŷr Thomas and Alexandra Oomens as Ralph Rackstraw and Josephine. Making his operatic debut,  Les Dennis, plays Sir Joseph Porter.

National Film Theatre

2 screenings of a double bill of Launder & Gilliat’s ‘The Story of Gilbert and Sullivan’ and ‘Topsy-Turvy’.

Sunday 14th  November:

Sunday 28th  November

‘Story of G&S’ - NFT3 at 14.50

There is a Joint Ticket offer for both films.  Mike Leigh will be doing a post-screening Q&A on 14th.

 Are on tour around the UK with - The Mikado, H.M.S. Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance and Patience.

28th International G&S Festival 2022  

30th  July – 6th August (Buxton) & 10th – 21st  August (Harrogate)

New productions from The National G&S Opera Co. of Iolanthe, The Pirates of Penzance, H.M.S. Pinafore and Utopia Ltd.
Other productions include Charles Court Opera’s Patience and Express G&S plus The Gondoliers  from Forbear! Theatre.  Amateur performances are back and a fringe programme.
