"Every sound becomes a song"              The Peter Parker Memorial event

We are delighted to welcome Affiliated Society Godalming Operatic for an afternoon concert of Gilbert and Sullivan and other Musical Theatre from their repertoire.

Godalming Operatic Society is widely regarded as one of the country’s leading amateur Gilbert and Sullivan Societies. The Society was founded in 1924 and had its first production, The Yeomen of the Guard, in 1925. Since then (excepting the war and Covid years) it has put on a major Gilbert and Sullivan production every year completing the canon of works.  Recently the Society was invited to sing at D'Oyly Carte Island during their 4-day music festival on Gilbert and Sullivan Day, and their production of Patience, earlier this year, was well-received and praised by many.
