The Barbican Library
The library of the Gilbert and Sullivan Society is housed in the Music Library at the Barbican Centre, London.

The Collection has over 300 books include recent publications, standard references, works from earlier generations and a comprehensive range of libreti and scores. The Collection is open to all – you do not have to be a member of the Society or the Barbican Library. The works are available for reference only and may not be removed from the library. They are accessed on request from a member of the Barbican Music Library staff.
The Collection may be searched via the music library online catalogue at:
www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/services/libraries/barbican-music-library then use the Search the catalogue, renew and reserve button. Searches will identify books held in the main music library in addition to those in the Gilbert and Sullivan Society collection and can be easily viewed according to subject and author. Access to books from the main library requires library membership.

Getting to the Barbican Library
The Barbican Complex is housed in the heart of the City of London. Moorgate and Barbican Underground stations are within close walking distance. The Society’s library is located in the Barbican Music Library, downstairs from the Main Library. It is wheelchair accessible and disabled parking is available.
